Audition Application Form

Welcome to the MBSO audition application form for an entry in 2024.

• Please read the Audition Brochure for orchestra standards, age limits and general information, on www.msbo.org.au

• Auditions will be held over 2-3 dates at the Clontarf Beach State High School hall. Please note, all dates and venues are subject to change.

• Audition fees can be paid in cash at the audition, by cheque or by internet bank transfer.

• All current members must reaudition for MBSO Youth Symphony & MBSO Junior Strings by opening the form emailed to the listed email address that matches your file on the MBSO database.

Fee

• Single audition: $20

• Second instrument or second family member audition: $25

• Third or subsequent family member: free

• Second instrument of the same instrument family (e.g., flute & piccolo): free

• Current members audition for free

Youth Symphony Scholarship

Moreton Bay Symphony Orchestra is providing scholarships that are open to players from primary school age to 25 years. If you play either Bass Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Bassoon or Tuba, you are invited to apply. The available scholarships include paid membership and free instrument hire (Tuba and Bass Clarinet) for one year. The applicant must attach this completed form to an email and send enquiries@mbso.org.au.
